H.E. Ayang Rinpoche was a peerless, worldwide master of Phowa (the transference of consciousness) and the ultimate lineage holder of the Amitabha Buddha teachings. His entire life was a living bridge dedicating the collective Heritage of Mankind directly into the immaculate Pure Land of Sukhavati.
As his holy body dissolved into the primordial elements of fire and light, he left behind an unbroken grid of enlightened energy for the Golden Age. This archive of 282 posts stands as a digital mandala, a monument of devotion, and a permanent seed of liberation for all who witness it. May the smoke of his cremation clear away the obsculations of the three realms, and may all boundless beings swiftly take rebirth in the heart of Amitabha.

THE SACRED CREMATION STUPA (SHUGBUL) — JULY 2026]
Nearly three decades later, the dynamic expression of his enlightened form is sealed within the holy Cremation Stupa. The outer form changes, but the heart to heart transmission remains entirely unbroken.

To honor Rinpoche’s vast, unceasing activity across the globe, we bridge his recent transition with our precious personal archives from Slovenia:
H.E. AYANG RINPOCHE IN LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA — OCTOBER 1997]
In late October 1997, our sangha had the profound fortune of receiving the sacred Shitro (Peaceful and Wrathful Deities) initiation from H.E. Ayang Rinpoche right here in Ljubljana. The seeds of pure perception planted during that historic event continue to blossom today.
His Eminence Ayang Rinpoche was invited to Slovenia by our Buddhist organisation Buddha Dharma . At the end of October 1997 we gathered at the hotel Ilyria in Ljubljana where Rinpoche with the assistant performed very rare Shitro Initiation of terton – hidden treasure revealer Karma Lingpa . It was such enlightened event while I was translating Rinpoche*s Teachings from English to Slovenian language . Because Rinpoche is also Dzogchen master , he included very many Dzogchen Atiyoga pith instructions during his oral transmission .
During the Dharma event Rinpoche also taught how to sing Verses of prayer to Eight Noble Auspicious Ones by Mipham Rinpoche . This Visual Dharma was later published at our youtube channel , so you can learn it and sing with us .

After the Shitro initiation in Ljubljana Rinpoche travelled to Croatia and Bosnia to perform Phowa transference of consciousness for all who were killed in Bosnia during the war … This happened just around Nov 1 1997.
Rinpoche was very generous and offered me consecrated Dzambhala statue ….
Once again I wish to thank Drikung Kagyu Dharma center in Vienna who helped us to invite Rinpoche to Ljubljana .

This cosmic dedication perfectly mirrors the sacred wisdom treasure (terma) revealed by our enlightened Atiyoga Dzogchen lineage master, Nyala Pema Dündul, who famously achieved the Rainbow Body. In the final, crowning verse of his supreme confession liturgy, the absolute refuge of Amitabha is directly invoked: [1]
