On the Dakini day, 25th lunar day of Bumjur Dawa or the month of miracles, we celebrate Vidyadhara Ayu Khandro (1839-1953) accomplishment of Rainbow body . This year is 58th anniversary . Ayu Khandro meditated in dark retreat in a place near river at Dzongsa, East Tibet. She dissolved her material body in Rainbow lighs, symbolically presented by the Crystal stupa. May it brings peace and happiness to all places all over the planet.

In doing so, moreover , they are expressing wisdom uniquely their own. They have not been merely echoing the Dharma as they have learned it from male teachers and ancient texts, but they have been re-envisioning the Dharma in ways that resonate well with the ethos of our time – an egalitarian, relational, affirmative and community-centered ethos as contrasted with the older authoritarian models that have prevailed in most Buddhist traditions.”
