💥🌏🌈Excellent news from Khyentse Foundation for all of us : “Khyentse Foundation and Siddhartha’s Intent invite you to join our global sangha on July 25 to celebrate the 200th birthday of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, cofounder of Rimé movement and one of the most renowned Buddhist masters of the 19th century.
Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche has agreed to give a 30 to 45 minute teaching on Manjushri at the start of the event, followed by a global online recitation of Mañjushri-Nama-Samgiti (Chanting the Names of Mañjushri). At Rinpoche’s request, we will follow a classical chant in the Newari tradition, which has been specifically recorded for this event. We will hold the event on Zoom and livestream it through YouTube. We expect the whole event to last about 2 hours.
Rinpoche’s teaching will start at 4:30 PM IST on July 25. Global starting times are:

Dzonngsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche was A-mazing with his humor during one hour Zoom-youtube live stream Dharma teachings listened by thousands of Buddhist practitioners aroudn the world . With his humorious style he place three goats and one donley to graze in the garden before him 🙂 at Bir monastery in Himachal Pradesh in India . Everything was so relaxed and spacious … Rinpoche was joking : “If Manjushri would be at WuTai mountain in China now – as He is – he would have Chinese citizenship 🙂 I am sure that some of meditators at WuTai shan mountain were listening to Rinpoche*s live stream . …Another of Rinpoche*s jokes was : “I am here in India and Saraswati is also in India … What a precise geolocation 🙂 “
I sincerely hope that Rinpoche and Khyentse Foundation will continue such open Dharma streaming to benefit countless sentient beings .

Our Vajra Brother Mangala Konchok Norbu (1957 -2017) had excellent connection with Buddha Manjushri : from 1990 onward he recorded all teachings and initiations organised by Buddha Dharma . He also initiated and led Vajra Gharuda e-publications and translate Manjushri-nama-samgiti from English to Slovene language . His connection with Manjushri was so excellent that I called him many times DhiDhi as his nick name . Dhi is seed syllable of Buddha Manjushri . When we presented our Manjushri nama samgiti Slovene-English-Tibetan publication to late Khenchen Pentse Rinpoche at the Shambhala Dharma center in Viena, Austria , Rinpoche was very happy . After finishing seven hours initiations and Dharma teachings , Rinpoche recited Manjushri-nama-samgiti by heart for 10 minutes , with profound cencentration and interruptions . About Mañjushri-Nama-Samgiti
The Mañjushri-Nama-Samgiti (Chanting the Names of Mañjushri) is a tantra of the nondual (advaya) class, along with tantras such as the Kalachakra Tantra. Buddha taught the Nama-Samgiti to his disciple Vajrapani and his wrathful retinue in order to lead them to enlightenment. Although it is a short text of only 167 verses, it summarizes all the Buddha’s teachings. As the Buddha said,
“It is the chief clarification of words. It is the nondual reality. Therefore, all sentient beings should definitely study and recite the Mañjushri-Nama-Samgiti.”
Even though Nama-Samgiti is a tantric text, Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo explained that it may also be recited by “beginners who do not practice the profound yoga … who wish to recite the tantra as a praise to Mañjushri’s formidable qualities.”
When he was teaching the Madhyamakavatara in France in 1996, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche read this text as an auspicious offering and praise. He said. “This is praised as being the root of all the tantras. It is like a Buddhist Bhagavad Gita. As I read, you should pray to be born as Mañjushri’s assistant, as his disciple, when he attains enlightenment. He is supposedly the last buddha that will be enlightened during this kalpa. It is also said that he was the first buddha of this kalpa.”
The Mañjuśrī-Nāma-Saṃgīti (Tibetan: འཇམ་དཔལ་མཚན་བརྗོད, Wylie: ‘jam dpal mtshan brjod) (hereafter, Nama-samgiti) is considered amongst the most advanced teachings given by the Shakyamuni Buddha. It represents the pinnacle of all Shakyamuni Buddha’s teachings, being a tantra of the nondual (advaya) class, along with the Kalachakra Tantra.
The Nama-samgiti was preached by Shakyamuni Buddha for his disciple Vajrapani and his wrathful retinue in order to lead them into buddhahood. The essence of the Nama-samgiti is that Manjushri bodhisattva is the embodiment of all knowledge. The Nama-samgiti is a short text, only circa 160 verses and a prose section. It is a fraction of the vast Sutras such as Avatamsaka Sutra and Prajñāpāramitā Sutras or the endless ocean of tantras such as manjushri-mula-kalpa and the mountainous Hinayana teachings and sea of sundry extra-canonical works. And yet, the Nama-samgiti contains all of the Buddha’s dharmas. It summarizes everything he taught. As Shakyamuni Buddha says of the Nama-samgiti, it is “the chief clarification of words”.[citation needed] It is the “nondual reality”.[citation needed] Therefore, all sentient beings should definitely study and recite the manjushri-nama-samgiti.
