I.INTRODUCTION

1.1.Homage to Buddha Padmasambhava, the Lotus-born Master. Dear worldwide friends of Buddha Dharma, today is 10th day , dedicated to Guru Rinpoche. To multiply  blessings in the world, we sent Visual Dharma: Teaching about 7-line invocation . Increase your positive energy by studying it, favoring, sharing, commenting upon and embeding this special Dharma.

“Praksa Dharme v vsakodnevnem zivljenju” is previous blog post for those who understand Slovenian language (based on the teachings transmitted there on Aug, 22).

1.2 OM MANI PADME HUM Happy Birthday, venerable Mangala Konchok Norbu : may your peace, creativity, wisdom and spiritual love always increase like the summer river. We all appreciate your Dharma work so much . There would be no Visual Dharmas – Buddhist teachings for 3rd millenium without your creativity J

1.3 OM SVASTI We had inspiring Yogic pilgrimage to nearby Alps with brooks, meadows and vistas : to sing the Vajra song, Tsog offering verse and sang rite at the Sky mandala  special place, where the earth meets the sky.

May all who read and remember Alive Dharma teachings be blessed with inner peace, clarity, wisdom and auspiciousness.

1.4. Lunar calendar for August-September 2009 ,

7th lunar month, with Buddhist special days for Dharma practice :

Aug. 28 : dedicated to Medicine Buddhas and Arya Tara. Related Visual Dharma: Medicine Buddha Blessings, 21 verses of Praise to Arya Tara.

Aug. 30   Dedicated to Buddha Padmasambhava : “Tirthikas from Tamradvipa throw Guru Rinpoche into Ganges. Raising from the water, he reverses the flow of the river and performs Vajra Dance in the sky. Tirthikas are inspired with devotion and begin to follow the Dharma. Guru Rinpoche is known as Guru Khading Tsal – Guru roaring in the sky like Garuda (celestial hawk).” Anniversary of Jomo Menmo-great female wisdom master; Ganachakra and Tsog Offering verse. Related Visual Dharmas : 7-line invocation, Teaching about 7-line invocation, Dances of eight manifestations .

Sept. 4 : Full moon day ; related Visual Dharma: Amitabha Buddha of infinite Light.

Sept. 7-17 : 10th Atiyoga /Dzogpa chenpo retreat.

Sept. 14 : Dakini day ; Ganachakra, Tsog offering verse.

Sept. 17 : Dharmapala day. Visual Dharma: Vajrakilaya tantra Gurkhukma by Khenpo Jigme Phuntsog Rinpoche, with  lineage prayer of the XIV. Dalai Lama.

Sept. 18 : Buddha Shakyamuni day ; purification practices; Sang.

Buddha Dharma : collective meditations and prayers (since 1988) , every Sunday from 4-5 pm according to programme of Visual Dharmas. Together we become vegetarians;  meditate and pray for inner and outer peace on the planet !

Hi: just a quick note to thank you for the email you sent me, esp. the part on “good or bad- hard to say”.
I’m having a hard time forgiving someone & this has helped me see things from a different perspective-we all have made many mistakes and in the end you never know where life will take you. Anyway thanks again.

Wholesome , unwholesome and neutral consciousness come from five sense organs as the touch , the smell , the taste, the hearing and the sight .These sense organs make contact with five doors of organs , exp : the skin takes contact with good , bad , and neutral objects , temperatures , wint , and also the same fonctions for other organs of sense .
Q.100 – When we have three branches of consciousness , have we also three minds that govern each of them ?
May peace and happiness be upon you always !

Answer :

There is only one consciousness/mind which need to be liberated from samsara / cyclic existence. There is nothing wrong with senses : it is auspicious to have sharp senses , like the ability of hearing and seeing ; the ability to see sacred Buddhist images and the ability to hear sacred Dharma can help everyone to remember the wisdom instructions when one arrives in the bardo state . At the time of death all senses are dissolving one by one, but the ability to hear dissolves as the last one . Isn´t this interesting for you as the researcher with kin senses ?!

I think that , it’s too hard to become vegetarian as you- because I’m a layman who live in new human society . If i will become a vegetarian I will leave out of my family too . In the other hand , I have noted the three branchs of consciousness from Buddhist monk who wrote a Buddhist book . That is why i asked you the question . Answer : It is not hard to become a vegetarian at all. Just think and see with the eye of Truth, that you are eating corpses of dead animals. Join social network www.protectanimalsandnature.ning.com and have a closer look about killing animals in this saha world. There is no need to leave your family to become a vegetarian. If all your relatives will become vegetarians, there will be more and more understanding, peace, compassion and wisdom in your relations . This is important for harmony. Remember the story that was sent few weeks ago : Mercy begins at the dinner table !

According to Buddhist Dharma is the seat of consciousness in the heart, not in the brain. We must all “think from the heart” and develop prajna . Prajna is wisdom of discernment . Remember the Prajnaparamita or shortly : The Heart sutra. Yes. Lord Buddha has fully developed Prajna = Wisdom of discrnment, therefore He delivered so many teachings about cause, condition and efefct (that is , about karma) to human beings.
