It was one of these inspiring online events by Gyalwa Rinpoche that everyone could listen on Livestream. There were about 4463 listeners and many more attending in San Diego . Arriving from Hawai Gyalwa Rinpoche looked so fresh and youthful , although he is 77 years old. May the prophecy about him to live 129 years, come true . We can admire his energy and diligence in promoting human values , dialogue and understanding between races , nations, religions , social groups etc. Event in San Diego was introduced by speakers of the University and by excellent classical guitar player which calmed down the atmosphere, bringing peaceful relaxation .

Gyalwa Rinpoche´s reflections about humanity and the need for greater compassion were manifold .These are some of my notes written down during Livestream :
“For healthy growth child needs affection ..at the end of life affection is also very important..Compassion is most important part of our life..Only material development will not bring genuine inner peace. Mental level of experiences is more important as physical level. Modern education is too much materially oriented. We need self-discipline which comes from moral and ethics. World is multicultural and multireligious, based on secularism. Religious people must be serious and sincere (in their practice). Emotions like extereme competition are negative. There are two kinds of ego :
1. negative ego disregards others rights.
2. positive ego brings self-confidence, courage , determination. Anger out of concern for others is seen as positive. If child don´t have affection at early age, he/she can have fear and insecurity for whole life. Healthy mind- healthy body… Calm mind develop only through warm heartedness . ..If we think of all seven billion people on this planet as WE, there is no ground for bullying. Let us create inner peace, peaceful families and peaceful world. Humanity depends on individuals. That is the way to promote Wellness.

In answering questions Gyalwa Rinpoche also pointed out : 21st Century must be century of peace. Peace develops through dialogue. Peaceful life brings happiness. As a Buddhist Gyalwa Rinpoche is inspired by the Buddha , by Mahatma Gandhi … Much in the future depends on self-confidence . It depends on one´s own determination & widom (holistic view). European generations had painful experiences of I. and II. world war . Younger generation did not have such experiences and can lead softer life. Gyalwa Rinpoche said: “Now I am 77 years old and I also passed through many difficulties . Our lives must be honest and truthful. Generations of 21st century has a chance to create peaceful world through leading honest life and warm heartedness. “

3.2. Earthquake in Indonesia, Tsunami warning in 28 countries

An earthquake of 8.9 on Richter scale has struck Indonesia. Tremors were also felt in Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Patna, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar and several other cities on the eastern coast of India. India has also issued tsunami warning for coastal regions of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands following the earthquake.
Indonesia issued a tsunami warning after the huge magnitude earthquake off its westernmost province Aceh, leading panicked locals to scramble out of their houses to seek refuge.
Meanwhile, Indonesia’s disaster mitigation agency is sending a rescue team to Aceh, after a massive 8.7 magnitude quake
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said an Indian Ocean wide tsunami alert was in effect, after a quake that the US Geological Survey said was 308 miles southwest of the province’s capital Banda Aceh.
The quake was felt as far away as Singapore, Thailand and India.
