Tara Tulku : Yes, it just naturally appeared in my awareness after observing two rainbow spheres around the morning sun. The verse contain all keys and meanings of Atiyoga * Dzogpa chenpo essence lineage : Purity (Tib. Kadak), Spontaneity /(Lhundrup) and Without duality (Yermed). This Dharma verse and Vision are connected with first Vision of Todgal practice, spontaneous leap-over. All who see such Lights will be liberated from samsara. One only needs to be sensitive enough….
M.K. Norbu : Do you often teach with Dharma verses , Rinpoche ?
Tara Tulku : Those teachings that have Dharma poetry are more direct. Such teachings point out directly enlightened Buddha nature, present in all beings. I try to use every opportunity to introduce that enlightened Buddha nature in simple and direct ways, be it through Visual Dharmas or through written teachings.
M.K.Norbu : So you don´t like intellectual teachings a lot , Rinpoche ?
Tara Tulku: No, not so much. There is always danger to become intellectual and uncreative, uninspired. True Dharma practice makes us creative and inspired, awakening deep faith in Buddhas and their Lineage. Intellectual teachings are just like instructions how to drive the car, or how to cook the food , how to make zen gardening, for example. But they are not actual teachings and masterpieces themselves. I try to teach authentic Buddha Dharma without obscuration of race, nationality, politics or social position-this Dharma is available to all. We respect the words of Guru Padmasambhava and are not selling the Dharma. We don´t threat sacred Dharma as merchandise. Therefore we are creative and inspiring , because blessings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of ten directions always abide with us. These Dharmas are fresh and A-live , with A symbolizing natural state of Dharmakaya. They arise also from meditative experiences of Atiyoga*Dzogpa chenpo essence lineage of the Sound*Light of Dharmata.
M.K. Norbu : But many people feel very proud of being intellectuals with many fancy ideas ….
Tara Tulku : That´s true. Such people are so much attached to Tibetan grammar for example, teaching through etymological way …. It is just like instruction how to use the computer : instructions can be written in many different languages , not only one. It is not the instruction that is valuable , it is actually the laptop . Instruction without the laptop is almost useless. After one learns how to use the laptop, one does not read the instructions any more. One advances on the path by creative work on the laptop, not by reading the instructions…
Atiyoga master Shri Singha prophecized about the dream of Tibetan translator Vairocana – that in the future time precious Dzogchen teachings will be just like “incense lingering in an empty box”. We are avoiding this pitfall : 45 Visual Dharmas presented on www.youtube.com/OpenBuddhistForum present authentic, creative and inspiring Dharmas who have extensive supportive teachings with bibliography, notes and e-learning curriculum. These Dharmas for new millennium are not “incense lingering in an empty box”. They are true spiritual treasures – Heritage of mankind.
M.K.Norbu : Rinpoche, you are continuing the Atiyoga essence lineage of Ayu Khandro Dorje Paldron who lived in Tibet from 1839-1953, at the end of her long life accomplishing the Rainbow body. How are you satisfied with your Dharma work in this regard ?
Tara Tulku: Ayu Khandro Dorje Paldron was also a tertön or hidden treasure discoverer who had special connection with Buddha Padmasambhava. Her mind terma of Wisdom Dakini Siamukha is known. All her other Dharma works are almost unknown, which is a pitty, because she was such accomplished Atiyoga master, living for more then 50 years at the retreat house near the river in East Tibet. As her biography published in the book Women of Wisdom shows, it was Ayu Khandro`s enlightened intention that her Dharmas reach and spread also on other continents.
It is the same with hidden treasures of Buddha Padmasambhava : to think that they exist only in Tibet, would be too narrow- minded….
M.K.Norbu : Some people think that V.I.P. or Very Important Persons must be distant in order to make themselves more precious ….
Tara Tulku: Yes, this is well know : distance is formula of all bussiness people. But we are not practicing distance : our Visual Dharmas are very close , available to every being . Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are never distant : they are always presennt and their enlightened energy shines in all directions and times. True spiritual master has compassion and is not distant. Wisdom light is warm and compassionate like the rays of the sun. Rainbow lights show enlightened masters very clearly : even after they pass away and come back to this saha world, on their anniversaries there can be rainbow spheres visible in the sky, as it was during the Vision on the 11th anniversary of Dudjom Rinpoche II. He was one of great Nyingma masters and mystics , often writing Vajra verses and poetry.
M.K.Norbu: Rinpoche, how are you satisfied with development of Buddha Dharma OpenBuddhistForum channel on youtube ?
Tara Tulku: We all can be satisfied with the Dharma work done in 2008 and 2009. First year we did not have swift internet connection, only mobile one, which was very slow and often broke down. But in 2008 we uploaded around 36 Visual Dharmas ! Other nine followed in 2009. Because of slow internet connection in 2008 we did not have much involvement in the community-we just focused in our Dharma work. In 2009 we had a lot of interactions with the world-wide community. Inside statistics clearly show significant progress of our beneficial Dharma work : video uploads views increase from 173.180 to 416.500 in one year; subscribers from 309 to 826 and friends from 69 to 736. With more than 16.500 channel views we can be happy and we hope that our channel & Visual Dharmas will be embeded to still more sites , bringing positive energy everywhere. 2009 was year of devoted and concentrated Dharma work benefiting beings.
M.K.Norbu : Alive Dharma teachings were published almost every Sunday in 2009 – there are now 61 Alive Dharma teachings published at www.MySpace.com/BuddhaDharma_OBFI and around 42 at www.buddhadharmaobfinternationakl.wordpress.com Heritage of mankind. Some also appear on other social networks. Rinpoche, will you continue with Alive Dharma teachings every Sunday in 2010 ?
Tara Tulku : In 2010 Alive Dharma teachings will be prepared only every 1st and 3rd Sunday in a month, not every Sunday. This will give us all more time and space to develop seven programmes of Buddha Dharma equaly, among them Buddha Dharma charity, helping Sagar Rinpoche´s Buddhist school for orphan children in Nepal. We hope that many more sponsors will join Buddha Dharma charity. Worldwide friends will have more time to study and apply Alive Dharma teachings in their lives. For some of them such swift “tempo” of four teachings in a month was surely too demanding . We will also multiply the blessings from Visual Dharmas by sending them throughout the world on special days of Buddhist lunar calendar. Many Visual Dharmas have close connections with special days of Medicine Buddhas, Arya Tara, Guru Padmasambhava, Manjushri, Buddha Amitabha, Vajrasattva, Vajrakilaya…. To send these Visual Dharmas on coresponding days multiplies the enlightened energy in the world.
M.K.Norbu: So you feel, Rinpoche, that with Visual Dharmas you and we all who take part in this Dharma work, are nurturing sentient beings, as Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche wrote in the Invocation of Arya Tara nine years ago ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6pDvHf2qgo
Tara Tulku : Yes, I believe so. Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche, with whom I studied Atiyoga * Dzogchen from fall 1999 till 2005, gave me a lot of inspiration, creativity and encouragements. We all pray for health and long life of Thinley Norbu Rinpoche.
While devotedly serving the teachings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, following noble examples of Mandarava and Yeshe Tshogyal, upholding and protecting the teachings of Buddhas arose naturaly by promoting ten enlightened activities, as advised in Vajra words of Buddha Padmasambhava.
M.K.Norbu : What are your visions for the future, Rinpoche ?
Tara Tulku : Astrologers predict conjunction of our Sun with the center of the gallaxy Milky way, on winter equinox 2012. It is important to remember this date . It is said that such constellations happen only every 26.000 years. At last such constellation cave men developed themselves toward more developed human beings ! Humanity must make significant spiritual progress in next 3 years : this can happen by avoiding eating meat and to avoid killing of animals for food ! We believe that Visual Dharmas – empowered with the Sound* Light of Dharmata – are helping humanity to become less egocentric, more enlightened, wise and compassionate.
M.K.Norbu : What is the role of individual internet user in this spiritual process , Rinpoche ?
Tara Tulku: Everyone can become vegetarian, saving lives of animals. Everyone can contribute drop of wisdom to the Heritage of mankind : practice, pray and meditate according to Visual Dharmas; study , comment, rate******, share and embed them like very many have already done. In such simple but effective ways everyone brings peace, wisdom and loving kindness to this planet Earth. It is uniques Healing Art and Wisdom without borders J
M.K.Norbu: Collective meditations and prayers go on already from 1988. Will they continue also in 2010 ?
Tara Tulku: Of course . Dharma practice means unimpeded continuity. After one is directly introduced to primordially pure Buddha nature, hearable*visible with Sound*Light of Dharmata, Dharma contemplation never stops : until complete and perfect enlightenment of Dharmakaya Buddha Samantabhadra. To nourish that seed – sprout – toward blossoming lotus of Enlightenment , there are collective prayers and meditations according to Visual Dharmas – every Sunday afternoon from 4-5 pm (GMT +1) or according to your local time. At that time I also give direct introduction to natural Sound*Light of Dharmata, your Buddha nature. Actively participating in meditations and prayers means to nourish one´s seed-sprout of enlightenment, to accomplish complete and perfect Buddhahood of Samantabhadra.
M.K.Norbu: Rinpoche, you are also actively promoting gender equality in Buddhism . Why is this Millennium goal of United nations: Gender equality and empowerment of women , so important ?
Tara Tulku: Together with saving lives of animals and teaching about vegetarianism to achieve world peace, there is another aspect of my Dharma work : Gender equality. In spiritual development of humanity till 2015 people must get rid off and liberate themselves from all patriarchal ways of thinking and practice gender equality. This spiritual process , supported by astrological and astronomical constellation of the Sun with conjunction with the center of the Milky way, has to do with opening of the heart chakra. In Buddhism we teach and apply the Bodhicitta – unselfish Love. Opening of the heart chakra is sometimes difficult for men, because their upbringing was mostly patriarchal. Because of wrong upbringing such people are often entangled with anger and violence, including religious violence ! There is religious imperative for the equality of women. Wise men like former US president Jimmy Carter The Carter Centre site fully recognized the importance of gender equality in religions as well as in all fields of life. Successful petition of fourfoldsangha.org/petition-text shows very clear results! This spiritual process is painful only for those who are afraid of loosing worldly power and prestige ! Other wise men and women are fully engaged in positive changes of new millennium.

I have another question, how can I use meditation to uncover represed emotions or those that come on it’s own accord when I learn to meditate ?
Meditation is not method for using . Meditation first mean to be aware of one´s body position, one´s way of breathing and one´s thoughts. Repressed emotions like repressed anger unfold themselves in the meditation process. One just become aware of them. Meditation is great practice of awareness . With awareness of oneself as one is at the moment clarity and presence also develop. Meditation must be natural , without tensions, without exageration or excitements and without dullness. Just sit in comfortable bodily position and become aware of your breathing : slow, relaxed, peaceful.
