Dear Friends of Buddha Dharma,

this day is dedicated to the Medicine Buddhas and to Arya Tara. To multiply the blessings of the Medicine Buddhas throughout the planet we send related Visual Dharma-Buddhist teaching for 3^rd millenium.  Do the same and help to stop spreading of diseases, famine, poverty and violence in the world.

I.BUDDHIST WHOLESOME MEDICINE – education :

May 31 is also NO TOBACCO DAY. Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche II. wrote about harmful effects of tobacco on human health, poluting the central energy channel and closing it, diminishing innate clarity and wisdom. If you are a smoker, stop smoking tobacco today ! It is very good day for the beginning of your purification . In Buddhist wholesome medicine we offer advice and purification medicine (Concentrated powder : Universal healing tonic) which will help you to purify your energy more swiftly and efficiently. Please support laws in your country which prohibit smoking in public places. We must also think about human rights of children who live in families where parents are smoking. Such children are exposed daily to the harmful effects of passive smoking . This polution can affect their health in young age or later in adult life (astma, cardio vascular diseases,immune defficiency, cancer etc.) Educating children and their parrents must be one of the priorities of all medical doctors. As in England doctors should be awarded additionaly for their efforts in preventing diseases.

One of our favorite movies is the awarded documentary by Michael Moore : Sicco. Everyone should view it with awareness. On the list of efficient medical systems , presented in this documentary we see that Slovenia is just on the following place after  US ! We strongly support US President Mr. Barack Obama – Friend of Buddha Dharma on youtube and The White House-Friend of Buddha Dharma on myspace- in their positive efforts for the reform of medical health care in US. Yes, everybody has the right to choose such  health care which will truly help him / her in prevention of diseases. We educate constantly about prevention of diseases by promoting healthy and high quality vegetarian diet, meditation , Buddhist Chi Kung workout,martial arts etc. ! At least now when new virus related to swine flu is trying to spread all over the world, everyone with common sense should allready know that meat eating habit is not only ethically unvirtuous, but also dangerous for human health. By becoming vegetarians for the rest of our lives we save lives of sentient beings. There is great merit*positive energy in virtuous actions of saving lives of animals. May you soon become compassionate living being . For this we constantly pray….

Homage to the innate, self-arisen Sound*Light of primordial purity and spontaneity

There are different kinds of Buddhist teachings. Most advanced are unseparable Vajra teachings of primordial purity (Tib. Kadak) and spontanweity (Lhundrub). When we have stable abiding in the samadhi of Sound*Light of our innate Buddha nature we receive Vajra teachings in unimpeded continuity of Dharmakaya. In Dharmakaya´s (Tib. Chö-ku) dimension of Truth we are unseparable (Tib. Yermed) from all Buddhas wisdom awareness. As Urgyen Guru Lian-shen (1) recently wrote in a letter :
”Sentient beings are sentient beings because they have ignorance. Nothing exist in the Great Void. Yet, from the Great Void reveals all Upaya to help sentient beings.”

For a reasoning, conceptual mind these might seem a paradox. If you wish to understand unseparable Vajra teachings – just leave reasoning, conceptual mind- thoughts alone. Relax and return your attention inward : listen to innate Sound*Light of your Buddha nature, always guiding you, always present, always loving.

Many think that Buddhism is so complicated, full of complicated terms and intellectual explanations. But all 84.000 Buddhist teachings, revealed by the Buddhas, are compassionate skullful means (Skt. Upaya) to lead sentient beings into liberation, accomplishment and enlightenment of THAT Buddha potential within. Atiyoga Dzogpa chenpo Upadesha (secret instructions series) Tantra Penetration of Sound (Tib. Dra thal gyur) teaches : Penetration of Sound is the base of all Buddha`s teachings.”(2) From the naturally self-arisen Sound*Light of Dharmata all Buddha´s teachings arise as compassionate skillful means (Upaya). Everybody who does not know or is not aware of innate Sound*Light of Great Voidness is sentient being, ignorant about innate Buddha nature.  Unawareness (Skt. Avidya, Tib. Marigpa) must be awakened into wisdom awareness (Skt. Vidya, Rigpa). Guru Padmasambhava is teaching how to accomplish this : “Descend with the view, ascend with the conduct.” I repeat this again and again and it`s never enough. To descend with the view and ascend with the conduct is the correct, authentic Path of Buddhist practice. We can not leave the view about primordial purity and spontaneity of our innate Buddha nature only as theoretical view, high as Mt. Everest, but behaviour is left on the level of the base camp or even lower ! Our aim is to integrate primordial purity and spontaneity into pure behaviour, benefiting many sentient beings.

Unseparable Vajra Dharma´s teach us how to accomplish our innate Buddha potential into fruit of enlightenment; how to be unseparable from all the Buddhas . As Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche wrote in one of His prayers : “…to abide forever with immeasurable Buddhas.” (3) Unseparable Vajra Dharma´s also teach us how to benefit sentient beings through wisdom compassion, teaching with unbiased upaya-compassionate skillful means. Unseparable Vajra teachings are like the sun and sunrays- always there, always present, always lovingly radiant. Even if you can not go to teachings and retreats of Buddhist masters – unseparable Vajra teachings are never discontinued . In unimpeded continuity they are always present- after you successfully receive DIRECT INTRODUCTION to the Sound*Light of Dharmata practice.

Ringing of the Bell … just turn your attention inward and listen to the unimpeded Sound*Light of innate Buddha nature, Samantabhadra Buddha within. Have confidence in the View of your primordial purity, spontaneously arising, hearable*visible Sound*Light of Dharmata (Tib. Chönyid kyi rangdra). Continue in that relaxed natural state (4) and cross over the ocean of samsara to the serene continent of three Roots , three dimensions, primordial Buddha Samantabhadra within.

It is 21^st year of Buddha Dharma´s collective meditations and prayers, held every Sunday from 4-5 pm (GMT +1) or according to your local time. Increase  positive energy in your life by meditating and praying with us according to the programme of Visual Dharma (see previous Alive Dharma teachings). If there will be stable internet connection on the “Dragon island” we will send next Alive Dharma teaching on June 7.
