called Bumjur Dawa according to the Buddhist calendar .
Fire Horse year started on February 17/18 2026 .
Year of the Fire Horse 2153

Bumjur Dawa is the first month and the hare month of the Tibetan lunisolar calendar. Chotrul Düchen falls within this month.
The first fifteen days of the year celebrate the fifteen successive days on which the Buddha displayed a different miracle in order to increase the merit and inspire the devotion of future disciples.
During this month the effects of positive or negative actions are multiplied 100,000 times.
Therefore practice is emphasized during this period.
Recently , on the 8th day of lunar calendar
which is dedicated to 21 Arya Tara and Eight Medicine Buddhas ,
