Well, were you stuck in traffic jam in a city , accident on the highway with long traffic jam ?

Hopefully not ! But indeed many of our fellow citizens on the planet Earth experience such conditions every day !

For example : when I travelled back from the conference at the Ministry for culture in Ljubljana , Slovenia European union I did experience something unusual : IC train stopped at Dolga gora near Poljčane … Without obvious reason : we were packed in the train for more than one hour . Mobule phone did not work because there was no connection in this valley … Finally we were asked to go out of the train and we were waiting fort he bus to take us to Slovenska bistrica . And we were waiting fort he bus to come another thirty minutes . Then driving with a bus took us long : through valley , narrow road – we finally arrived to Slovenska Bistrica . There another train was waiting to take us further to Pragersko and Maribor city . It took me almost 5 hours to arrive at my destination , that is 3 hours delay !

Sounds familliar ?

Next day I checked home page of Slovenske železnice : indeed they are repairing the route from Ljubljana to Maribor already longer time and there are delays ! And there will be delays till the year 2020 ! Imagine that : suffering of people who use the train transport to go to work in Ljubljana , Celje , Maribor …  The costs of repairing the route goes into many many millions …
