II.Crystal Stupa: connecting symbol in this Visual Dharma is CRYSTAL STUPA as described in the dream by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu who wrote down Ayu Khandro´s life & liberation biography.
A stupa (from Sanskrit: m., स्तूप, stūpa, Pāli: थुप “thūpa”, literally meaning “heap”) is a mound-like structure containing Buddhist relics, once thought to be places of Buddhist worship, typically the remains of a Buddha or saint. In other Asian languages such monuments are called

chorten (Tibetan མཆོད་རྟེན༏ (Wylie: mchod rten), “dharma place/seat”)
-
chedi (Thai: เจดีย์, from the Pāli cetiya (चेतिय))
-
dāgaba (usually spelt “Dagoba”) (Sinhalese: ඩගොබ, from Sanskrit dhātu-garbha (दातु–गर्भ) “relic-chamber” )
-
tope (Hindi: स्तूप, from the Sanskrit)
-
garbha (Sanskrit: गर्भ, meaning a storehouse or repository)
Words can not completely describe all spiritual qualities of accomplished masters like Ayu Khandro. For some she was emanation of Vajrayogini, for others emanation of White Tara (Sanskrit: तारा, tārā).

In 1st part we see Tagdrol of the Vajra Song with Lineage masters of Nyingma Vajrayana Buddhism . At the end the Vajra appears with the Sound of Vajra. Liberation by remembrance. Turn your attention inside & discover primordial state.
Ayu Khandro´s Palden Tsawai Lama was Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo འཇམ་དབྱངས་མཁྱེན་བརྩེའི་
(1820-1892). We also see sacred image of White Tara, connected to hidden treasure of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, now at Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche´s monastery in Bir, India.
Terma teachings are ‘hidden teachings’ have been left by Padmasambhava (8th Century) and others for the benefit of future generations. Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo discovered Phagme Nyingthig (Tib. spelling: ‘chi med ‘phags ma’i snying thig, Innermost Essence teachings of the Immortal Bodhisattva [Arya Tārā]).
Her another Root Guru was Nyala Pema Dündul (1816-1872), also known as Terton Nyala Pema Duddul, was a teacher of Dzogchen and Tantric Buddhism in Eastern Tibet.

WISDOM DAKINI SIAMUKHA PROTECTION AMULET
As all tertöns / hidden treasure discoverers Ayu Khandro had Mind-mandate transmission from Guru Padmasambhava. In this connection we see protection amulet of Wisdom dakini Siamukha. We focus on important periods in Ayu Khandro´s life: birth & young age, middle age with long pilgrimage and her very long meditation retreats in the dark.
Ayu Khandro performed the Yang-Ti (Tibetan), an advanced sadhana of the Dzogchen Upadesha in the Dark Retreat. Sādhanā (Sanskrit साधना),
Her dharma brothers & sisters included Adzom Drukpa, Pema Yangkyi – her best friend on the pilgrimage. She accomplished Rainbow Body at the age of 74 while meditating in the cave at sacred Mt. Kailash. For more than 10 years she was on pilgrimage with Togden Semnyid who was advanced Chödpa, Vajrakilaya and Dzogchen practitioner.
Chöd (Tibetan: གཅོད; Wylie: gcod (Tibetan: གཅོད་སྒྲུབ་ཐབས་ gcod sgrub thabs; Sanskrit: छेद साधना cheda-sādhana
They travelled with Togden Trulzhi who accomplished the Rainbow Body at the age of 83. In the youth Lhawang Gonpo taught her inner heat practice (Tummo) and living on air & mineral substances (Cud-len). Although this sublime Dharma practitioners did not have high status in Tibetan society of 19th and 20st Century, their accomplishment of Rainbow Body was supreme. They lived as yogis and yoginis, not in monasteries ! Being born on the Dakini day during the winter and beginning Tugdam contemplation on the Dakini day is very symbolic for the Woman of Wisdom. Crystal Stupa slowly disappearing in the sky toward the West also symbolizes Pure land of Buddha Amitabha. Five pure Lights of the Rainbow Body are represented by the Stupa. Ayu Khandro – Glorious Indestructible Diamond was truly serving, upholding and protecting the teachings of Buddhas. May Her life & liberation story inspire you on your Path*Pilgrimage toward liberation and Enlightenment. May Her Blessings be present everywhere.

V. Notes
5.01 Nyingma Vajrayana Atiyoga essence lineage in which Ayu Khandro practiced and taught the Dharma is described in Wikipedia :
“ Mañjushrīmītra (Tib. ‘jam dpal bshes gnyen) classified all the Dzogchen teachings transmitted by his Guru Prahevajra (Tib. Garab Dorje) into three series: Semde (Wylie: sems sde), Longde (Wylie: klong sde), and Mengagde.[1] Mañjushrīmītra’s student Shri simha re-edited the oral instruction class/cycle, and in this form the teaching was transmitted to Jñānasūtra and Vimalamitra. Vimalamitra tranmistted the Mengagde teachings to Tibet in the 8th Century.”
Atiyoga*Dzogchen Lineage masters are presented in Visual Dharma: Tribute to Ayu Khandro.
5.02In Wikipedia there is an entry about Ayu Khandro. I corrected this entry little bit, simplifying the language and adding more facts.
“Ayu Khandro, formally Ayu Khandro Tsewang Dorje Paldrön (1839-1953) was a teacher of Dzogchen and Tantric Buddhism in East Tibet. She was a student of both Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo and Nyala Pema Dündul.By many, Ayu Khandro was an emanation (not incarnation) of Vajrayogini. She has spent many dozen years in dark retreat and also practiced and taught a tantric long-life practice and was an adept chödpa.
She transmitted her knowledge and gave empowerments to Chogyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche in 1951.
In 1953 she accomplished the Rainbow Body, beginning on the Dakini day in Bumjur Dawa – month of miracles.
